MY JOURNEY
I would love to be a visual development artist, illustrator or graphic novelist! Designing characters, writing stories, crafting worlds-- it's all a blast. I'm also a passionate musician and have been playing classical piano for almost ten years. More recently, I started composing my own music, playing in rock bands and arranging music for piano. Ideally, I will pursue a life as a working artist and musician.
FUTURE GOALS
I'm inspired by a wide variety of visual artists. Some earlier inspirations were fairy tales, Disney movies, and anime. Now, most of my inspiration comes from artists I find online, including Leilani Joy, Sakuems, MelissARTworks on YouTube, Camilla D'Errico, and Joe Benitez. Lindsey Stirling, dancing dubstep violinist and YouTube star, films beautiful music videos and I love listening to her music while drawing-- her energy is definitely present in my paintings!

Ever since I could hold a pencil, I loved making art. However, I first discovered my passion for drawing in grade school when we did creative writing and illustrated our stories. Around fourth or fifth grade, I began to lose confidence in my work, but one of my close friends in middle school encouraged me to keep drawing. I began watching speed-painting videos on YouTube, in which artists film themselves drawing or painting and compress it into a short video. That was when I set my sights on being a professional artist. I just graduated from the International Baccaulaureate Art program at my high school, where we formulate a body of work around a theme. I started creating graphic novel pages and don't ever intend on turning back!
